Besides being Barça's coach, I'm a Barça fan. I believe it's the best club in the world. I've felt that way since I was a child. And we must enjoy today. We will celebrate, no doubt. We have 15 days off on the international break to rest up and relish this result. What we did today is very difficult. It's very difficult to come to the Bernabéu and win 0-4 playing good football.
I'm very happy for the players. Some of them were in a difficult stage of their career. Being criticized and questioned. Today they showed that they are great football players with personality and courage. This is the way forward, It means a lot to me as a coach. I'm only starting out at this, so winning 0-4 in the Bernabéu gives me a lot of strength, for sure. For sure. And it gives strength to our football idea, our playing style. There's no doubt about it. Barça must compete playing in this style of football.
It was the best present I could've been given. To be honored by the club, my team-mates. I feel grateful for the amount of respect they have for me. At the end of the day All I've tried to do since my return is so they know where they are, so they know what's on the line. It's not as simple as putting on your boots and going out on the field. The club's history is on the line. The club's honor. The club's colors. A team that has always been very resilient. So we need to understand this, the young players, need to understand what they represent. The club's values and history. We more experienced players we need to show them that that there's a lot on the line and we will have a good time together if we do things correctly.
